The employees at The Dorrington in Halstead are very nice

Comfortable base for 2 nights. Standard twin room with decent size tv. Plenty of tasty and reasonable breakfast items to choose from. Neat building, perfect and marvellous location right by Lovejoy's pub at the bottom of the hill and the “ England in Bloom ” event.

It is comfortable place to stay with amicable employees who were sarcastic in their response when we made a simple request.

The breakfast here is great for non meat eaters, and the location is fantastic, close to local pubs and a market within walking distance.

We had a really good stay at this hotel for one night with our family members. The location, just a minute walk from the city center, was great. A small market and a supermarket were right next door.

The hotel is big and clean with a nice interior. Quick and reasonable breakfasts included. Efficient and accommodating staff as one would expect. The property is set in a central location near a good area. The bar is great.
